The Information Management Division (IMD) administers the DoD Forms, Public Information Collection, and Regulatory Programs and is the lead agent for the E-Rulemaking Initiative, the Federal Docket Management System, as part of the Regulatory Program. IMD establishes policies and procedures for reviewing and approving requirements in these functional program areas: Forms Management, Public Collections, and Regulatory.
Programs
Public Collection Program
This web site provides a listing of approved, under review, and recently expired public information collections. It provides guidance for processing public information collection requests for approval by the Office of Management and Budget in accordance with the requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act.
Forms Management Program
This web site provides links to the DoD (DD) Forms Inventory, Secretary of Defense (SD) Forms Inventory, and serves as the single source of information for forms belonging to and used within the Department of Defense, the DoD Forms Points of Contact, and DoD Forms publications, as well as frequently requested sites.
Regulatory Program
This web site provides a listing of DoD rules and guidance for processing rules and notices for publication in the Federal Register and codification in the Code of Federal Regulations.
