MGT Team,

With the dog days of summer winding down (hopefully) I hope many of you have had a chance to get away and relax or plan to do so soon. It’s important that we use the leave allocated to us and take a break and enjoy some time away from the stresses of work.

Recently I previewed a new program for our division, the MGT Customer Service Recognition Program. I am very happy to announce that the program now has officially launched. You can read all the details and guidelines here and people managers will receive additional guidance.

I want to emphasize that this new program is for everyone in our division to recognize and reward legendary service. Its goal is to strengthen and support our customer service culture. When you see a colleague providing legendary service, or experience it yourself, just send an e-mail to that person’s manager and the Customer Service Recognition Team (MGT-Customer-Service-Recognition@frb.gov). Upon approval, your colleague will receive a thank you card that can be redeemed for a gift card worth $25.

My thanks to Michelle Coleman and the HR Customer Service Project Team for championing this effort with the assistance of Sina James, Jacqueline Raia, and Karen McKenzie. I also want to thank the following Customer Service Recognition Team members, who will be managing the program:

  • Patty Leoboldt, lead
  • Allison Dichoso
  • James McCoy
  • Karen McKenzie
  • Ambrose Phillips
  • Adrienne Taylor
  • Alesia Taylor-Boyd

Summer event

Our annual summer event with DFM is now scheduled for Tuesday, September 15. This is a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues over food and games before the busiest season begins. I encourage everyone to take part in the fun and get some fresh air at the Martin Building park. See details here and be sure to give your contribution to one of the organizers so we can place the order for food.

Make it a GREAT Day!!!

Michell Clark
