Telecommuting soon? Check your NRAS connection
Information Systems would like to encourage staff that are planning to telecommute due to the papal visit to please test their NRAS connection prior to the event. Employees are also encouraged to bring their home laptop to work and connect to the Board network to ensure that the password is synced and patches are up to date.
All laptops should have the “Remote Working User Guide.PDF” file on their desktop that includes instructions and basic troubleshooting tips.
If you have a computer at home and you change your password at the office, please complete the following steps:
- Log on to your home computer with your previous password.
- Connect to NRAS.
- Lock your computer (Pres Ctrl + Alt + Delete and choose Lock this computer).
- Unlock the computer using your new password.
- Close and then restart any applications that require logging in to Board resources (this includes Outlook, Skype for Business, Board websites, etc.).
