Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld presides at opening ceremonies for Armed Forces Week on the grounds of the Washington Monument. After giving opening remarks and performing a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, Secretary Rumsfeld and his family toured the exhibits that were set up by each branch of the military.
